Meet The Feelings Teacher

Hi, I’m Eliza Ginsberg, LCSW — a licensed therapist in New York & full-time Feelings Teacher.

I help kids and caregivers understand emotions, build connection, and turn big feelings into teachable moments. With a mix of clinical know-how, creativity, visuals, and real-world language, I make emotional learning fun, practical, and something kids can actually use in everyday life.

This work isn’t just about feeling better; it’s about helping kids do better with what they feel, strengthen relationships, and grow with confidence.

My goal is to make emotional learning feel doable, meaningful, and woven into everyday life— building the connection between home & school.

The Feelings Teacher

Hi, I’m Eliza Ginsberg, LCSW — a licensed therapist & full-time Feelings Teacher.

After years of supporting children and families through life’s ups and downs, I’ve learned something simple and powerful: kids thrive when they understand their emotions—and adults do too.

I blend my background in clinical practice with creativity, visuals, and real-world language to make emotional learning engaging and accessible.

This work isn’t just about helping kids feel better—it’s about helping them do better with what they feel.

My Coaching Method

CONNECT

We start by getting clear on what matters most.

Together, we’ll find tools and strategies that help your child (and you!) build focus, confidence, and
a toolkit towards calm.

REFLECT

Next, we slow down and notice what might be getting in the way.

Reflection helps us understand feelings, patterns, and moments that need a little extra care.

REFINE

Growth takes practice.

We’ll keep learning, adjusting, and celebrating progress— recognizing that small wins are building blocks to the goal of sustained change.
